D800's Last Shot?
It was about 6 AM at the Fossil Cliffs on Maria Island. Jana and I got up at 4:45, and walked there by moonlight from Darlington. I was photographing seascapes with my D800, when I got hit by a wall of spray from a rogue wave. The camera got soaked, but it is well sealed and I thought it would be okay. However, it stopped working a few hours later, and now it's with Nikon Australia to see if it can be resurrected. (Chances are perhaps 50/50, I think.) In the meantime, this is the last shot it took before dying. Very sad!
